  WHAT IF YOU KNEW?

  Awareness builds choices

Imagine being made aware of a healing technique that has been used since
the beginning of history -. A techniques that can be traced back to the Bible
and one that was of prime importance in the "sleep temples" of Ancient Greece,
a place of pilgrimage and healing.

Now, what if you were told that through this technique, you could achieve
the relaxation, peace and tranquility that boosts your immune system, increases
well being and builds empowerment, resiliency and follow through, with lasting
  effects?

Think about what it would be like to eliminate inappropriate fear, insecurities,
barriers, or destructive behaviours from your psyche, so you can be free
to be at your ideal in your mind, body and spirit, responding appropriately
  to any given situation

Let's go for the burn! How about feeling what it is like to be in a positive
state of mind ongoing, feeling confident, accomplished, and successful and
most importantly appreciated for who you are, as you are. Nothing more, nothing
  less.

Would you want to know more? Who would say no in his "right frame of mind"?

So, what if you knew that the technique was Hypnosis?

Knowing that the imagination resides in the subconscious mind, and is susceptible
to hypnotic suggestion, can you see how planting hypnotically worded suggestions
  strategically, greatly influences your will?

Emile Coué, the world's most recognized expert on the phenomenon of
suggestion, said: "A person's free will always yields to the imagination."
This is an absolute rule to which there is no exception. So knowing that
this is the RULE of the mind ... I am sure you would want to consider this
technique seriously whether for yourself or someone you love. Recognize that
in 1955, the British Medical Association endorsed the practice of hypnosis
in medical school education, and in 1958 it was recognised by the American
Medical Association as a healing modality. Since then hypnosis has become
a valuable addition to conventional medical treatment

If you have tried this technique you know ... If you have not, you must.

What you think is your reality. What you think, you are.

Hypnosis is NOT sleep. Rather, a person's focus is dramatically heightened
	      as he/she creates a state of "Super-Awareness."

Hypnosis is NOT being unconscious. There is no loss of consciousness.
The conscious mind simply becomes the observer of the special work done by
the subconscious. There is absolutely no surrender of the will or loss of
control. A "strong will" actually enhances the process because a person's
	      self-control is literally strengthened.

Hypnotizability is NOT gullibility and weak-mindedness. The more
intelligent the person is, the better he/she can respond.

Hypnosis is NOT being controlled by someone else. Hypnosis is
self-hypnosis. The client can choose to disregard any suggestion the hypnotist
makes. That means the client can maintain and control his/her own actions
throughout each session. Hypnosis never makes a person act against his/her
own belief system. Hypnosis can only facilitate that which the client is
	      inclined to do.

In order to be hypnotized you must:

		-
		  Give your consent.

 -
Experience a "rapport" on an emotional level between you and the Hypnotist.

 -
Be free of fear. Fear of hypnosis can limit your ability to benefit from
process. You need to feel physically safe and comfortable throughout the
		  session.

 -
Want the suggested changes and be open to change.

If you are skeptical or unwilling to change, the session will not help you.

The mind is extremely suggestible and is being bombarded constantly with
suggestive stimuli from the outside, and suggestive thoughts and ideas from
the inside. A great deal of suffering is the consequence of the negative
thoughts and impulses invading one's mind from subconscious recesses, referred
to as "self talk" by Albert Ellis, and "automatic thoughts" by Aaron Beck.
Past experiences, guilt feelings, and repudiated impulses and desires often
push themselves into awareness, directly or in disguised forms, sabotaging
one's happiness. This, over time, then becomes habitual behavior. Hypnosis
creates a direct access to the storehouse of these negative messages, hence
it helps give insight into their origin. It then offers the opportunity to
replace them with positive ones know as "Selective Thinking."

Hypnosis creates "Selective Thinking," which is whatever you believe
wholeheartedly. If you believe that you feel no pain, and believe it completely,
you feel no pain. Yet if you let even the slightest doubt come in, the selective
thinking vanishes. The critical faculty is no longer bypassed and the pain
is felt. Selective thinking disappears not only when doubt enters, but also
	      when fear comes in.

You Do Not Have To Be In Deep Hypnosis To Obtain Benefit: The depth of hypnosis
does not always correlate with the degree of suggestibility. Even if one
goes no deeper than the lightest stages and is merely mildly relaxed, one
will still be able to benefit from the therapeutic effects.
